Shakshuka शकशुका
Ingredients
- 2 Onion sliced
- 3 clove Garlic roughly chopped
- 2 Pepper thinly sliced
- 400 g Tomato chopped
- ½ to 1 cup Hot water
First spice
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- ½ tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
Second spice
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Handful Coriander leaves
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add onions and cook for 4-5 minutes until
- Add garlic, mix and cook for a minute.
- Add pepper and mix.
- Add first spice and mix.
- Add tomato, water and mix. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, until consistent.
- Add second spice. Cover and cook for around 5 minutes.
