Tomato Pachadi टमाटर पचाडी
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Urad dal
- 1 cup Tomato chopped
- ½ tsp Tamarind remove seeds
- Salt as required
First spice
- 1 tsp Black mustard seeds
Second spice
- 8 Fenugreek seeds
- 2 Kasmiri red chilies
Third spice
- 12 Curry leaves
- 1 pinch Hing
Instructions
- Add oil in a pan.
- Add first spice. Let them begin to crackle.
- Add Urad dal. Stir often and fry until golden.
- Add second spice. Mix and fry until the chilies change color, but not burn.
- Add tomato and third spice. Saute until the tomatoes soften. When they become mushy, remove from heat.
- Add Tamarind and stir.
- Add the paste to a blender. Add 1/4 cup of water. Add more if required.
- Blend to a smooth consistency.
- DONE!
