Tomato Pachadi टमाटर पचाडी

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • 1 cup Tomato chopped
  • ½ tsp Tamarind remove seeds
  • Salt as required

First spice

  • 1 tsp Black mustard seeds

Second spice

  • 8 Fenugreek seeds
  • 2 Kasmiri red chilies

Third spice

  • 12 Curry leaves
  • 1 pinch Hing

Instructions
 

  • Add oil in a pan.
  • Add first spice. Let them begin to crackle.
  • Add Urad dal. Stir often and fry until golden.
  • Add second spice. Mix and fry until the chilies change color, but not burn.
  • Add tomato and third spice. Saute until the tomatoes soften. When they become mushy, remove from heat.
  • Add Tamarind and stir.
  • Add the paste to a blender. Add 1/4 cup of water. Add more if required.
  • Blend to a smooth consistency.
  • DONE!
