Chana Masala चना मसाला - Chetna
Ingredients
- 2 Yellow Onions chopped
- 2 Tomatos chopped
- 1 inch Ginger crushed
- 2-3 cloves Garlic crushed
- 1 can Chickpeas 454 g
- Random vegetables Optional
First Spice
- 3 Bay leaf
- 1 inch Cinnamon stick
- 2 Black cardamom
- 3 Green Cardamon
- 3 Clove
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
Second Spice
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Chili
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Amchoor powder
- 1,5 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Pomegrenate powder
Instructions
- Heat a large pan with oil.
- Add first spice and cook until fragrant. Do not burn the bay leaf.
- Add onions and cook until browned.
- Add ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add tomato. Cook until oil is coming out of the side.
- Add second spice and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the chick peas with the juice.
- Cook until your are satisfied of the consistency. Add vegetables if you want.
- DONE
