Dried chickpeas
or 1 can of chickpeas

Tomatoes

Baking soda
Instructions
If using dried chickpeas
Soak chickpeas overnight in cold water
Boil chickpeas in a ratio of 1 cup chickpeas to 3 cups of water. Add a pinch of baking soda to the boiling water.
Boil until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Main
Prepare or reheat magic masala.
Add the tomatoes. Simmer until mushy and oils comes out from the side.
Mix in the cooked chickpeas. Add Amchoor and sugar.
Cook until the consistency is to your liking.
