Ingredients
  

  • 4 Beet uncooked without leaf
  • 100 g Laban
  • 1 handful Fresh mint

Sauce

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Lemon zest and juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sumac to sprinkle

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375F.
  • Rinse the beet in cold water. Sprinkle with salt and wrap up in foil. Place on a cooking pan.
  • Cook in the oven for 1 hour. After removing, let cool before removing from foil.
  • Prepare the sauce by mixing all the ingredients.
  • Peel the beets. Slice thinly and place on a serving plate.
  • Garnish with Laban and mint.
  • Pour the marinade over the beets. Sprinkle with sumac and serve.
