Laban and Mint Beet
Ingredients
- 4 Beet uncooked without leaf
- 100 g Laban
- 1 handful Fresh mint
Sauce
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 Lemon zest and juice
- Salt and pepper
- Sumac to sprinkle
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375F.
- Rinse the beet in cold water. Sprinkle with salt and wrap up in foil. Place on a cooking pan.
- Cook in the oven for 1 hour. After removing, let cool before removing from foil.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing all the ingredients.
- Peel the beets. Slice thinly and place on a serving plate.
- Garnish with Laban and mint.
- Pour the marinade over the beets. Sprinkle with sumac and serve.
